Bernie Conneely

Born in Bedford, England, Bernie's father Mick Snr came from Errislannan, Clifden, Co Galway and played fiddle, accordion and tin whistle. Her mother Lizzie, from Co Longford was a champion step dancer.

Traditional music was an integral part of both social and family life. Bernie, as well as learning from her father also took lessons from the legendary Clare musician and teacher Brendan Mulkere; as did her siblings Kathleen, Pauline and Mick Jnr.

Over the years Bernie has performed, adjudicated and taught at numerous workshops in Ireland, Europe and the USA.

Brian Scahill

Brian Scahill: One of Irelands finest Banjo players, Brian is the Banjo player with the Swallows Tail Céilí Band. Brian studied music in college and has taught at various summer schools around Ireland including the Willie Clancy Summer School.
